What is Pitch deck?

A pitch deck is a short presentation, usually 10 to 15 slides, that explains your problem, solution, market, traction, team and ask, so investors can decide quickly whether to take a meeting or invest.

Example

A pre-seed deck: problem, who has it, solution, why now, market size, early traction, business model, go-to-market, team, and the ask with what the money will achieve.

Why it matters for early-stage founders

Investors often spend only a few minutes on a deck. A clear one gets you the meeting, and building it forces you to tighten your own story.

The common mistake

Filling slides with features and long text. Each slide should make one point an investor can repeat to their partners.
